Our Head Chef a foreign national has more than 20 years of experience in Japanese cuisine specifically Sushi.
The architect has set a multi-cultural approach in the design of the restaurant. Upon entering on would feel that the space is liberating itself from European influence. However, once you are seated, the view would be of a space set in a European setting but juxtaposed with Asian influence. Cocochan offers an upscale, premium service and food in a great ambiance.
Our internationally trained chef specializes in Japanese cuisine and draws on Chinese and Thai methods to create exciting new flavors. Cocochan also boasts a sophisticated cocktail range and delectable desserts inspired by oriental flavours.
The inspiration was to create a premium dining experience in this vicinity which is being largely neglected by most other restaurants in this area. We wanted to bring the live teppenyaki experience, the freshest of sushis and the best of Thai and Mandarin cuisines and be the first in doing that. We have a wide range of sushis available made from freshest of imported ingredients which we believe differentiates us from the rest.
